Taj Garden Retreat Coonoor, perched at a height of 6500 ft and nestled in quiet surroundings, offers vignettes of Coonoor's pretty terraced tea gardens, rolling mountains and drifting mists. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and some of the bedrooms have old world fireplaces. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided. All bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs and health faucets. The rooms vary in size and range being a heritage property.

The Superior Rooms, larger than the standard rooms, are tastefully decorated cottage style rooms with ethnic colonial architecture and have sitting and dressing rooms. All rooms are on the ground floor. Heaters are provided in all the rooms and most of the bedrooms have old world fireplaces. Maximum number of rooms have a lawn in the front. Tea / Coffee making facility is provided. All bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs and health faucets.The rooms vary in size and range.
